RIB Software AG announces the acquisition of the leading construction software company Soft SA in Spain. The successful acquisition of 100% of Soft SA will open up a new business opportunity for RIB in the Spanish-speaking markets. The Spanish and Latin American market leader, Soft SA, will become part of the global RIB Group and its estimating product, Presto, will be integrated into the iTWO Platform.

Soft SA is a leading global player with high profitability of 30% EBITDA. With 35 years professional experience in the market, Soft SA is a fast growing as well as a high potential company, which generated tremendous growth of 33% in 2014 license sales. Its core product Presto, the cost estimating software leader in Spain and Spanish speaking countries, has been widely used across the Spanish speaking markets with more than 60,000 end users and 15,000 top clients network. More than 80% of large projects with budgets of more than 1 million Euro in Spain are using Presto. Its clients include global top construction companies such as ACS, FCC, Sacyr, OHL, Acciona, Ferrovial, Dragados, and Cobra.

Soft SA Madrid will play a significant role in RIB global business development, and Presto will be integrated into the iTWO 5D Big Data platform. The Madrid team will continue to serve iTWO Presto technology in the market as well as bring iTWO 5D into the Spanish-speaking regions. The integration of Presto into RIB's end-to-end 5D construction business solution iTWO is designed to provide Spanish customers with a concept-to-completion business solution to the entire building process. With the 15,000 top client network, the new potential markets of 2015 will focus on locations such as  Spain, Chile, Dominican, Colombia, Ecuador, Jamaica, Mexico, Peru, USA and more. The Distribution of iTWO into the Spanish and Latin American market will also be executed across the 100 Channel Partners of Soft SA. The software revenue of the channel partners with the clients from AEC, EPC and Infrastructure industries amounts to approx. 12 Mio. Euro and has an iTWO Technology sales potential of over 10 Mio. Euro.

Following the successful introduction of iTWO in English- and Chinese-speaking countries, RIB has now opened a new page by entering into the Spanish-speaking market. With the new Madrid team, RIB has now proclaimed its 8th Headquarter and region that is ready for take-off after Copenhagen of Nordics market in 2014, Atlanta of USA market in 2012, Sydney of Australian & New Zealand market in 2012, Singapore of Southeast Asian market in 2010, Dubai of Middle East and African market in 2010, Guangzhou of Chinese market in 2003, and Stuttgart of German-speaking market in 1961.
